How to unzip the database and backup.zip file once they've been transferred to computer.

Solution

To unzip the database (ProcedureLogDB.zip), Photos.zip, Signature_Image.zip, and the CSV report (Procedure-Log.zip) files one must use either Keka (for Mac) or 7-Zip (for Windows) to be able to unzip these files, since the default unzip utilities in macOS and Windows are not able to unzip encrypted files.

The Procedure-Log.pdf and Procedure-Log.zip files are encrypted and password-protected using the Reports password (the password you created and entered in the Create Reports view). The ProcedureLogDB.zip, Photos.zip, and Signature_Images.zip files are all encrypted and password-protected using the App's Login password.

As of version 4.0 of the app, the Backup.zip file is not encrypted/password protected, only its contents are. (Prior to version 4.0, the Backup.zip file was password protected using the Reports password.)
